City Offices to close at least one day a month due to budget

Due to budget restraints, the following City of Antioch offices will be closed for business at least one day a month and most employees at these locations will be required to take an unpaid day of leave:

• City Hall
• Corporation Yard
• Animal Services Facility
• Police Department Front Counter and Records (other police services will continue)

The business offices at the Prewett Park and Nick Rodriguez Community Centers will also be closed, though the Recreation programs and other prescheduled activities will be held as planned.

Closure dates for the above facilities are:

• Friday, February 13, 2009
• Friday, February 27, 2009
• Friday, March 27, 2009
• Friday, April 10, 2009
• Friday, April 24, 2009
• Friday, May 22, 2009
• Friday, June 26, 2009
  

Starting in July 2009, it is anticipated that there will be additional mandated furlough days. For more information, please call the City Clerk’s office at (925) 779-7009.
